In 1995, the company began as a tiny operation with a few scattered factories and small personnel. It has grown into one of the most important garment industries in the hill capital, mostly serving the local market. They’ve made a step forward by going global, to capture the export market. Trinity Apparel Holdings comprises 1500 square metres of office and production space.
They are a well-known sustainable sourcing company that provides a wide range of fashion products and categories, such as clothing, intimates, and accessories. Mr Gamini Gunaratne, the chairman, charged us with designing his new office space to meet the influx of local andoverseas buyers as the company expands. We accomplished this by combining current styles to produce an interior with a Kandyan feel yet an elegant air of modernism running throughout the space. Starting with the main entrance, the entire design was centred on the aforementioned elements, and it represents the developing firm and demonstrates stability as one enters the premises. The building’s main entry lobby is a minimalistic set-up and a huge area with special detailing. The simple design of the railing and the furnishings will create a tranquil mood while concealing the grandeur of the space. The wall paintings provide glimpses of the hill capital while infusing the area with a Kandyan flavour, and the suspended copper light fixtures add to the majesty of Sri Lanka’s Hill city’s bygone age.
The room’s simple furniture layout provides a sense of calm, while the wooden strip ceiling and wooden flooring, combined with the yellow sofa and grey and blue titanium walls, add contrast to the space, giving it an aesthetic appeal and a sense of cheerfulness in a space where the most important business decisions are made.
